Piano and Drum Lessons

Brody Smyers is a multi instrumentalist that teaches drum set and piano lessons to all ages. His teaching style is focused on creating a relaxed and patient learning environment. Lessons are tailored to the student’s musical goals while teaching a strong foundation in music theory. Learning to count rhythm and read music opens the door to play any instrument. The lessons are focused on a mind and body approach.
Proper technique and posture are a major focus of Brody’s music instruction, with the goal of a strong mental comprehension of theory and the physical balance to play with fluidity. Brody believes the body is also an instrument and when it is in balance and proper alignment, it allows the student to express themself and truly be in tune with their instrument. If you want to learn to play your favorite cover songs or compose your own music, Brody is happy to help you tap into your creativity and find your own unique sound.
